Butterfly in the Garden

Took this photo of a Tiger Swallowtail checking out our flowers in the backyard.

Magic Frames and Goth Weddings

I found this via Wil Wheaton's blog and found it too funny not to share.

Take on Me: Literal Video Version - watch more funny videos

Hey! Where's my handsome comic book guy come to life? Then again, I mostly read Batman comics and I'm not sure I could stand the late nights and constant brooding.

Also, for my fellow Idol fans: It's a nice day for a goth wedding.

Pegasus Art

I created a new digital art piece. I used Photoshop brushes to create a colorful galaxy and painted over an illustration of Pegasus taken from an antique book.

Prints available in my etsy shop.

Collages

Added a couple new collages to my etsy shop.

Photography

I took a photography class this spring. Here's a few digital photographs that I took for the class.

Script Frenzy

Script Frenzy starts in two days. It's a challenge to write 100 pages in 30 days. Movies, plays, TV, and Graphic Novels are all fair game.

I downloaded CeltX, a free script writing software, and tried it out. It makes formatting scripts super easy and has templates for whatever kind of script I might want to write. I also love that I can add pictures and other media files for reference and inspiration.

I've been reading How to Write a Movie in 21 Days by Viki King. The writing exercises are helping me shape the story I want to write.

Hopefully I'll be ready to go by the kick-off, April 1st. Only two days to go. Looking forward to it!

Paperclay Doll Sculpt in Progress

This is my first try at making a paper clay art doll.

Before and after sanding:

Brain dissection:

After removing the tin foil, I used an x-acto to cut out the eyes, so I can later insert plastic ones.

I have also made a wire armature for the body, which I will add clay hands and feet to.
